The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is considering revisions to its Recommendations to improve alignment with measures that promote financial inclusion. This is an important initiative under the leadership of FATF’s new President, Elisa de Anda Madrazo to strengthen the implementation of the risk-based approach (RBA) and a proportional application of AML/CFT protocols.
